Looking for a particular iDRAC command

I am working with a PowerEdge R710 and I am attempting to make some configuration changes to the iDRAC and get it up and running on the network.  I have done this with all of our newer servers with ease, but this one does not have a dedicated NIC for the iDRAC.  In looking at the configuration, I see it is set to use LOM1:

LOM Status:
NIC Selection   = Shared
Link Detected   = Yes
Speed           = 1Gb/s
Duplex Mode     = Full Duplex
Active LOM in Shared Mode = NIC1

I want to change this to use LOM4 by using the RACADM command line.  But for the life of me I cannot find the command to use to do this.  Could anyone here offer me any insight into this?  I would sincerely appreciate it.

Hello

I'm not sure if that is possible on the iDRAC6. The option you are looking for is cfgnicselection. It is covered on page 157 of the manual. I show the latest manual is on the support page of firmware version 1.95.

I am unable to find anywhere that you can specify the shared LOM interface. The available options I can find are covered on page 157. Being able to specify the LOM interface is likely a feature added in future generations.

Thanks

Thank you for the reply!  It appears CfgNicSelection only allows you to change the manner in which the connection is shared.  For example:

0 = Shared

1 = Shared with Failover LOM2

2 = Dedicated

3= Shared with Failover All LOMs

I find it odd that in the sixth iteration of iDRAC I can't change the default used NIC to another one.  Surely there must be a way.  I know that if I'm in the web console, I can simply change to another LOM.  So there must be a way to do it with the RACADM command.  I don't have access to the web interface.  I'm doing this from the command line from the server itself.

I checked the web console, it has the same options. I don't think there are any options aside from the ones listed.

Yes I looked at mine once I got into the web interface.  It also does not have any drop down list for changing the LOM.  It must be iDRAC7 or higher.  Thank you for your help!
