Maximum Memory for Dell Poweredge R410?
I was reading the online manual for a poweredge r410 i have purchased on ebay and am interested in upgrading the ram to the maximum this server can support and i am confused as to what the maximum capacity is. In the manuel i see a chart that says 64 gigs and a paragraph that says 128 and another that says 196 gig so which is it and also is the 64 gig number per cpu or total or is it completely wrong? the R401 currently has 2 E5620 cpus

I show that 16GB modules can be fully populated in each slot for a maximum population of 128GB with dual CPUs. The manual may still list 64GB as the maximum population. There is a memory information update on the R410 support page under documentation. We release information updates when information changes and we do not change the manual. An information update will supersede information in the manual.
