PE M630 VRTX - cannot update FW with Platform Specific Bootable ISO
Hello,
I've downloaded something called Platform Specific Bootable ISO, PEM630 19.07.00 for PowerEdge M630, to update all FWs in the server. I've run the virtual console, put ISO in a virtual media, the linux booted up with error "This Platform is not supported."
I've also tried to update it via Lifecycle Controller (through Virtual DVD) - and nothing (I cannot do it via FTP, because Lifecycle Controller doesn't see the 10GB NIC cards).

It may be that you have the wrong package, depending on the file. I say that because we have M630s and M630s for VRTX. They're different, albeit very slightly. That difference may be the issue. If the update package is the from the right source and is supposed to be for the VRTX version, I would recommend using Repository Manager and creating your own .ISO. You can obviously also run the individual update .EXEs in the iDRAC, if that's easier.
