Yes, our OpenManage product line has several applications for management and monitoring. OpenManage Server Administrator has a storage module that allows management and monitoring from within an OS. I think OMSA installation requires a restart, but you may have enough functionality to check the RAID level without a restart. The OMSA download can be found on the server support page. Does openmanage require IDRAC?

It requires an iDRAC or BMC. Features may be limited if you only have a BMC. There should be a feature list in either the iDRAC or OMSA manual.
