R230 raid configuration utility

Question

Hello, I have a r230 that does not give the cntrl + r prompt to enter the raid configuration utility.  It has a h330 and s130 controller in it.  How can I fix this?  Thanks for your advice. Dave C

What you seeing is the correct behavior. You will have all options available in PERC configuration utility either with Ctrl + R or with Device Settings option in BIOS

Can you ensure H330 is seated and SAS cable is connected properly to the controller and backplane. You can also flash latest BIOS and see any change in behavior? IF you have access to iDRAC can you check whether iDRAC is showing details on H330 controller?

Thanks for your reply, I have flashed the bios to 2.12.0 and checked the status in idrac and it is good.  But still no cntrl +r option.  What should be my next step?

Can you boot to BIOS and check under device setting whether you able to see H330 configuration utility option?

That is true but I would like to get it working properly.  I noticed if I change the boot setting to bios mode I get the cntrl + r prompt but when i switch back to uefi mode it does not appear.  Is this normal?  Should I leave bios mode set?
