R420 DRAC replacement
We have an R420 with a failed DRAC module. The server is out of its support window. My question is, would the DRAC from an R430 work on this 420?
We dont have any other R420s but we do have a spare 430 which I can scavenge from.
I cant try it myself because the 420 is in production. Also, If I had it my way id replace the 420 with the 430 but thats not my call (Before anyone mentions this).

The iDracs are not supported in another generation of servers hardware. The technology is different, as well as the expected firmware levels. So I am not certain it would be functional at all. So for those reasons it is going to be based solely on trial and error.
Let me know how it goes.
