R620 virtulization latency question

Question

So I've got several r620 rackmounts in service currently, I had one I pulled out of service late last year, November, I cleared the virtual disks to get a fresh start for when I wanted to put the machine back in service. I did that yesterday, after installing the os(ESXi) the startup took a little longer than the others of the same type. On ce started I created a virtual instance but the overall speed between user input and network were way lower than the others for this type. Is there a spot to look that may fix this issue. I can clear the virtual disks again if need be, just want to get this up and running.
