Hello VictorBar,

Are you replacing a single processor or adding a second one?

Test with a single processor at a time in CPU1 socket. Let me know how another processor reports.

Check CPU socket for any bent pins.

A couple other steps to try: drain flea power, clear NVRAM, reset BIOS to defaults:

drain flea power -shut down, disconnect power cables, hold in power button 20 seconds with cords removed. After flea power drain, system has to set for 3 minutes for DRAC to reset without any power plugged in, then plug in power but wait 2 minutes before power on to give DRAC time to initialize. Check results

Clear NVRAM  -Shut down. Set the NVRAM jumper on the system board to clear position. There should be a  map behind the cover. Boot up to the jumper error, shut down, return jumper to default position. Power up and check results.

reset BIOS to defaults

F2 > System BIOS > bottom right corner Default button. Save- exit -reboot. Check results.

Hello VictorBar,

How does the original processor report?

Can you get me a screen shot of where it is reporting CPU 0000 @ 1.70GHz with E5-2680v4 processor and what original processor shows for comparison?

Do you have another system to test the new processor in or another proc to test in this server? Theory is to see if two report fine and this E5-2680v4 does not then it's narrowed down to the processor.

Lets also get the diagnostic test run and the SupportAssist report in both configuration: original CPU and E5-2680v4

Please post me the results of the diagnostics and upload both SupportAssist reports here  https://upload.dell.com/  under your service tag and private message me your service tag number.

I don't have the original processor, we buy server and proc in different places.

Screenshots add. Servers before buying tested with another proc. I think the processor is broken or fake, i will return it.photo_2021-08-06_10-57-02.jpgphoto_2021-08-06_10-57-00.jpg
