Hello

It sounds like the system is running an invalid configuration or unsupported hardware. Someone may have swapped hardware in the system, like the backplane. If you put the service tag into the support site you should be able to view the original system configuration. You can compare that against the current configuration to find what hardware has been changed. You should then verify that the hardware currently in the system is in a supported configuration.

Hello Daniel,

I checked out both of the original configurations and did not see a difference excluding two things- One system had some PCIe NICs removed and a different DIMM config. The other system had a different DIMM configuration and different drives (went from 300GB SAS to 900GB SAS both 10k - the NVMe drives were the same). I am unsure as to why a SAS cable error would be thrown with these changes. Any thoughts?
