Rack console and Server Assistant boot - no input signal

Hi,

We have a rack of PowerEdge 1425SC servers being installed.

All are connected to a Dell-supplied analog KVM (a 15FP LCD).

 

The console works fine, except when we boot from the Dell Server Assistant CD. The boot starts fine in text mode, but when it switches (presumably) to a video mode to show the menu, the console shows "No Input Signal".

 

Does anyone know if this is likely to be a server video card issue? Or just incompatibility between the Dell Server Assistant s/w and the KVM? I'd really prefer not to have to lug in another monitor and switch cables manually for each server.
