Our Partner told us, that there is no Rack Mount for a T340 available but I can’t believe

I did some checking, I'm sorry to say, that appears to be correct.  The T340 did not get a rack conversion kit but the T440 did.

There are Kits for T6x0 and T4x0 but i never saw a T3x0 one.

Since the T340 & T440 have the exact same outside dimensions and seem to use the same chassis, would it be safe to assume that the T440 rack mount kit can be used on a T340 too, by any chance?

T440 and T640 can be inter used in that context, not for T340. 

PowerEdge T340 does not support rail kit. As rail kit is not supported we can not confirm that whether PowerEdge T440 rail kit works for PowerEdge T340. There is a very high chance that PowerEdge T340 will not have required pins to mount rail kits.
