Host based splitters for Linux
Hi,
We have Recover Point configured over Windows Host based splitters and Solaris Sparc hosts based splitter. Now we want to configure Recover Point on Linux (RHEL5) . Can anyone tell us that , does Recover Point support host based splitters on RHEL5?
We have EMC Recover Point 3.3 P1 (e.92) setup.
Thanks in advance.

No we don't. If you are using a CLARiiON CX4, CLARiiON CX3, or Celerra Unified or VNX series then you can use the array-based write splitter. If you are using other storage then you'll need to use an intelligent fabric based write splitter such as Brocade FAP or Cisco SANTap.
