Recoverpoint with SQL best practice
Hi there,
Does anyone have any documentation on SQL with Recoverpoint? My main question is in regards to provisioning the supporting luns, does the application data have to be provisioned separately from the application so it can be mounted to a separate SQL server with application consistency. If this is the case can the data come from a different datastore or does it have to be a RDM?
The ideal would not to decouple the app data for from the VM for ease but we're going to want application consistency still, is this supported?
Thanks,
Ed

Hi Ed,
Check out the latest RecoverPoint Replicating Microsoft SQL Server Technical Notes doc on the EMC Support website. Note that this does need updating but still has relevance.
