reset Admin password RP4VM

Question

Hi,

My customer had deployed old version of RP4VM I think it's 4.3, they want to upgrade the latest version but they forget the admin password for rp4vm VM and admin cluster password.

Is there any way to reset the password?

Thank you, unfortunately the maintenance contract has been expired.

By the way, is there any way to confirm the connection between 2 vrpa cluster? let's say I have 1 vrpa cluster on DC and the other on DRC, sorry for OOT

Hello haferush02, You can confirm the connections, however you will need to login using the Admin account in order to do so.

Method 1: Via vRPA Console (Most Common) Access the vRPA console through the vSphere/vCenter client Navigate to the vRPA virtual machine Open the VM console Log in using the boxmgmt account Default password: boxmgmt Navigate to: Security → Set Users Passwords Select the admin user Enter and confirm the new password   Method 2: Via SSH SSH into the vRPA using the boxmgmt credentials Follow the same menu-driven process: Security → Set Users Passwords → admin
