Virtual RecoverPoint requirement
I have read the EMC document named: docu47346_RecoverPoint-vRPA-Technical-Notes, on this document says that the OVA packaged can be only deployed through Vcenter.
question:
The vRPA can be installed under vmware vsphere hypervisor 5.5 free edition?
Why the vcenter is necessary to deploy the vRPA?

Hi Jose,
5.5 is supported and vCenter is required for both the OVA deployment and also the RPVM plugin for vSphere Web Client. VC is our gateway into the vSphere env.
