Can Replistor change the archive bit?

Does anyone know if Replistor can clear the archive bit on the source after the file is replicated to the target? We do not backup the source server - backup takes place at the target. The backup clears the archive bit on the target but when the source sees that the attribute has changed, it replicates the Archive Bit back to the target.

We need the archive bit set on the changed files for our differential backups but we do not need all of the archive bits set. Makes for long backups.

No, but what you can do is configure specification not to propagate attributes for the replicated files. I believe you will also have to turn off the "protect target files" option.

I believe that Replistor will not clear the archive bit on the file after replication; Replistor works by intercepting the changes made to the files rather than operating on the files themselves so effectively there is not a contact which would cause the archive bit to be reset.
