Data Domain replication w/ encryption

Question

We have a pair of DD640s across a WAN, with the replication license (but no encryption license).  We don't need at-rest encryption for the data on disk.  But we would like to use in-flight wire encryption for the replication.  Is that available with our existing license, or do we need the encryption license? Thanks

i believe encryption license is only for encryption at rest, not in-transit.

Thanks.  I would agree.  The datasheet for the replication option mentions encryption.  And the GUI option appears to be enabled even though I don't have the encryption license.
