Dependancy in Replistor 6.1

Question

Hi all

On reboot of Replistor best practice requires that replistor service start up before the application whoes data that needs to be replicated.

Is this still true for Replistor 6.1 ?

How would you set a service dependancy for example of a SQL service. Although dependancies are reflected in the services console one can not be added .Does it require a registry modification.

Where did you read this? I believe you misunderstood, after creating the specification a reboot will do, because from then on the Replistor filter driver will be handling the mirroring part. Replistor service is necessary for forwarding but it does not matter if it startes before or after the service whose data is beong replicated.
