RM closnes are mounted as read only

I have unchecked the mount replicas as read only.

I have just manually mounted the the replica cones for COOP/DR testing. and they are still read only.
I have notice that they are RAW and not NTFS.

Can i run the NTFS command on them to convert them to NTFS and would this fix the read only.

That is probably why. Have you tried using RM to mount the clone? If you are using RM to create the clone you should use RM to mount the clone as RM sets some extra bits on the clone I believe beyond on a Snapview Clone would look. Is using RM to mount the clone an option?

What is the replication transport (Snapview, MirrorView, etc)? Is this within a site to a local array, the same array or to a remote site?

I am working on that part now, but i do not have a COOP/DR RM server and I am afriad if RM fails and we need to go to coop I can't get the COOP servers to write to the disks.

No one has ever tested it before, so this is all new to me.

This is too a remote site.

No, they should not appear as raw if you are cloning a LUN that has a file system on it. It sounds like the host is not detecting the clone properly. Was the mount performed using Replication Manager?

What are you using for your replication transport? That will determine your options for the replicas at the remote site.
