Set Target in Celerra CIFS Share

I have setup a specification in which the target is pointing to a UNC path which actually resides in a virtual server within a Celerra NAS box. When I set itup, the credentials I use work because it allows me to choose the UNC path, but when I actually try to synchronize I get errors saying that there was no access to the target. I'm lost and out of ideas, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
