TPM device not detected in my laptop all time error

Hi, Can someone please assist me getting into the BIOS screen on my Inspiron 5510. The standard way, I believe, is to tap the F12 or F2 key when the Dell logo appears. I have tried every F key on both my laptop keyboard and also my external keyboard. Any suggestions? thanks, John
