I need to install rst driver for my n5010 win 7 64 bit. But in my bios
its ata.Do I need to change it to ahci to install rst driver.Cause it gives an
error ; Error , this system doesnt meet requierements to install this software
. Help me out.

Disable Intel RST
I have an alienware 15 R2. It has a 256GB mSATA SSD and a 1 TB HDD. The
laptop came with Windows 10 installed in RAID mode with Intel RST. The OS is
installed on the SSD. Is there a way to disable RST and still be able to boot
in the same OS?

I recently went to turn my computer on after putting it into
hibernation, and was greeted with an error screen telling me one of my RST
drives had failed. After hitting CTRL-I and going into the config for it, I was
able to disable RST completely and get my computer to boot back up.

to upgrade the 128 GB M.2 2280 SSD with a 512 GB M.2 SSD. I have disabled the
Optane RST but wasn’t sure with which one of the two drives (128 GB SSD or 1 TB
HDD) the Optane RST was associated. Looking at the Disk Drives under Device

Dell Support Assistant told me that I had an update for RST - going to
version 15.9.1.1020. The update failed. I finally got it installed by
downloading the package from Dell, disabling/reboot; uninstalling/reboot;

Hi everyone. Does anyone know if it's recommendable to run this laptop

an Intel I7, 16 GB RAM, a
128GB M2V SSD booot drive and a 1 TB WD HDD. The HDD died and I bought a new
one installed it in the computer, formatted the drive and everything boots up
fine, but when I open Intel RST the accelerate tab no longer appears. Any ideas
on how to get it back?

To enable Intel Rapid Storage Technology (RST) on my Inspiron 17R SE
(7720) I have to enable RAID in the bios.
