Can Secure Connect Gatwway Virtual Edition add a new network adapter?

I had this issue myself and was promised a couple of years ago that this would be addressed but it still hasnt. I added a second NIC in vmware and configured via yast but I dont know if its a 'supported' configuration.

I'm about to do a new deployment and will update with my process 

I've done it in ESRS v3 with a DMZ that mandates inside and outside interfaces. My advice is to make the default interface outside and then you will have to hack the apache config and other to expose services (GUI, etc) to the inside interface
