Can you hide the EX connection mailboxs as well as Directed Search Access?
Hello,
Once you have specified the mailbox connections in EX, can you high the EX connection mailboxes from the GAL without problem?
In addition, once you have specified a mail enabled group for Directed Search Access Rights, can you hide that group without problem?
Thanks,

I kind of hate the fact that it can't shortcut users that aren't in the GAL. I disable accounts and hide them from the GAL. I'd like to be able to run a shortcut task on my disabled users (that aren't in the GAL) rather than having to leave their names active in the GAL where my users might still send mail to them.

As per my understaning answer to your queries is that Connection MailBox could not be hidden and same applies to directed search access.
Ytsejamer1 : As far as EmailXtract jobs are concerned with 4.81.655 you can process disabled accounts, please check release notes of 4.81.655 and look for SDR 20788 or 20854 information.
I hope that helps
Thanks,
Raj

Yes, I do see and utilize the Process Disabled Users option, however it'd be great if Xtract could process user mailboxes that are NOT in the GAL. I don't like leaving disabled users active in the GAL.

Yes, that makes sense but end of the day questions arises are if its possible programatically? what it takes to impliment in the code and if its possible by using what is available in the SDK.
Thanks,
