EX services do not start after upgrading to 4.81.1459

After doing an upgrade from EX.70.xxx to EX4.81.1459, whenever the server is rebooted some of the EX services does not start automatically.  Then, when trying to start some services manually (such as the Data Source service)...it takes a very long time for it to start up.  SQL databases are on a separate server (SQL2005) and is online during the reboot process.  Mail client is Lotus Notes.  Anyone run into this situation?  Opened a case with EMC Tech Support, and she briefly said that this was a known issue.

Andrew -

Thanks for your post.  Since I hadn't seen any tech notes regarding this issue, I was just wanted to verify what my options are.  Tech Support took copies of the OTG event log, so hopefully they will be able to help out shortly.  Thanks again.

Hello,

The issues you are describing are known to support and are currently being worked on.  The Support Engineer you are working with should be able to escalate your Service Request so you can be added as an affected customer, they will also be able to provide regular updates on problem as we track towards a resolution.
