Recovery of an orphaned archive

Is there a way to bring back archives that have been removed from SourceOne without having to revert the whole installation back to the point in time that the backup was taken?

Scenario

I have three years of archives (2007, 2008, 2009). I delete and purge the archive for 2007. 3 Months after I deleted them I find out that I need some "important" emails restored from 2007. I go to do a restore and find that the SQL database files didn't get backed up properly and are corrupt. I only have the message center, Archive volumes and indexes.

Is there any way to get the 2007 emails back into my current production SourceOne environment?

There is a utility to extract the email from the Container files if you have them on a backup.
