Shortcut Forms not installable

Hi Guys,

I installed EX 4.8. on a classic environment (server 2003, exchange2003 english). All is running fine but I am not able to install the EX Forms in the public folders eforms registry. The folder in eforms registry exists (was been created from me without problems and set as "owner") but is not visible in the "manage forms" dialog in Outlook 2003 on the EX Server. There is only visible the folder created from Symantec Antivirus. Do anybody have some idea how to resolve this problem?

Is the EmailXtender service account set as owner of the folder? From your post it's not clear if you or the service account was set as the owner.

Once ownership is configured you should be able to log into the EX server as the service account and see the forms library in Outlook.

You should also verify the Outlook program installed on the server is not configured to use Cached Mode.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the answer. Yes, the EX service account is set as owner of the created folder. I tried something else: I configured the EX-Service account as owner of the visible EFORMS-Registry SystemFolder and I installed the necessary forms there. Worked without problems but the forms are not visible in the users Outlook. Any tips

I'm sorry, I'm not sure. I think at a minimum you'd have to grant the users privileges to view the folder. Perhaps adjust the default setting using in the exchange system admin tool? Hope this helps.
