Is there an easy way to do it if I bought it before 7/16/2004? With Windows XP. Not sure when I bought it, I think it was before. The ctrl + F11 is not working on this computer. It works on my other computer.
Thanks

Are you planning on re-selling your computer, or giving it away? If your transering ownership you may want to google for utility that would do a low level format of the HD rather than the one windows provides. Since a windows format, may make it possible for someone to read some of the old files on your hard drive.
Since you may not have have the CTL F11 feature you could re-fomrat, re-install the OS, drivers, service pack etc.

No, I am not planning to resell it, I just wanted to complete wipe out the HDD and reset it, but I am not sure where I have the XP CD, but I guess that would be the easiest.
Thanks
