Hi Sandy,

Could you please list the model number of HL-DT-ST drive for us.

Best Regards!

God, grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway,
the good fortune to run into the ones I do and the eyesight to tell the
difference.

1.Movies settingsMy Movies settings
  • My Movies "Home" Directory -- the folder where your movie library files are stored. Choose Select Directory to select a different folder.

Disc Burning settings

  • Preferred Recording Device -- the DVD/CD recorder you prefer to use, if you have more than one recorder.
  • Default Project Type -- the television standard for your DVD-Video discs and VCDs. NTSC is used in North America, Japan and some other countries. PAL is used in Europe and most other countries. Dell Media Experience defaults to your country's television standard.
  • Preferred Disc Type -- the type of disc you prefer to create.
  • Default Menu Style -- the default design for your DVD and VCD menus.
  • 2.Burning discs

Using your DVD/CD recorder, you can burn DVD-Video discs and VCDs for playback on a set-top DVD-Video player or on a PC:

    1. In the Movies menu, select the movies you want to burn onto disc. The movies must all be in the same television format -- NTSC or PAL.
    2. Insert a disc in your PC.
    3. Choose Copy To.
    4. Follow the Copy to Disc wizard's instructions to choose a disc format and menu style. If you selected more movies than can fit on the disc, you can deselect one or more movies until your selection fits.  /  thanks sandy lovejoy
