Playing DVD's - what do I need (basic question)
I recently purchased a used GX240 with a Liteon DVD. This is my first computer based DVD. The computer did not come with any software. What do I need in order to recognize and play DVD's? Are there downloadable programs or do I need to purchase something?

Cyberlogic Power DVD or WINDVD are the programs that I use.
They are reasonably inexpensive.
If you dont want to go to the store you can purchase the codecs so that windows media player will play them.
