Hi,

I had something like this,
with latest store port + windows 2003 SP1 ( which theoricaly included SNIA libs )
I had to download and install SNIA lib from Emulex web site ( in the general pages about Emulex drivers - not the EMC dedicated pages )
This solved the issue.

I hope it helps.

I've had this happen to me twice now. Both times I ended up having to shut down the agents on the host, delete the host from ECC, then start the agents back up to rediscover the host. Both times it picked up properly on the rediscover.

It looks like it might just be an occasional quirk in discovery... at least in my case.

I just ran in to this on a wintel x64 box. remove the host agent, ecc agent, delete c:\ecc. Now reinstall. I had on help from support outher send logs. I was under a time constraint. I am glad I am not the only one! I am running the lates ECC SP5.

Did you try to run manually the DCP "discover" ?

This is a good way to solve this issue ( we have to do do it sometimes in here )

We did try to force a discover manually, but the only way it picked up was after removing the object from ECC and redicovering it from scratch.

I have recently seen this issue as well. As someone previously mentioned, EMULEX is no longer packing a certain HBAAPI.dll with the storport driver => 120.a3.

I downloaded and installed the hbaapi (quick and painless) and stopped and started the host agent and everything shows. Although you might start getting the messages in ECC now requesting that you need this on other HBAs.

See emc145122 for more info.

Hope this helps...
