Managing DMX 4 using ECC

Question

We have DMX 4, and we used to manage it using SMC, right now i have some issue in SMC hence I am planning to use ECC to expand one of the meta lun. The meta lun was created using SMC and now i am planning to expland it using ECC, will it create any issue in performance.. Note : no data on the meta. Request someone to respond immediately.

Hi,In theory, there should be no issues expanding the meta via ControlCenter. Ultimately, both ControlCenter and SMC depend on Solutions Enabler SYMCLI to do the work 'under the covers'.Regards,Séamus CoffeyEMC Ionix
