To Install masteragent on Redhat Linux

I will be connecting two Redhat Linux AS 4.0 servers to DMX3. I need to install Master agent and host agent on both. I will be using ECC for this one. If anyone has done this earlier, please let me know. thanks for your help.

I checked some of the documents but it says to use solutions enabler software. But I think we can use the masteragent.sh script on the ECC cd1 to install it. Please let me know if this is correct.

As per suggestions; CD #1 on 5.2 (or CD4 on 6.0)

Install master agent using install_master.sh script from the media. Once installed the host object will show up in the ControlCenter Console.

Be sure to right click that host object, and apply patches (as the master agent from the install media on a 5.2 install set is the base 5.2 and if your running an SP then you need to patch it so that the master agent gets patched to your current SP level). Once done, then push out relevant agents needed. ie. Host Agent etc.
