Persistent Enable in Switch Port

Question

Hi,        What is persistent enable feautre  in switch used for .Is it something like ,if i disable a switch port and does a reboot of the switch ,port will come again online as i havent persistently disabled it .....Correct me if iam wrong .This is a general query not sepcific on any switch models Thanks Sree

Hi sree, Your understanding is right. Persistant port disable is a feature which prevents switch port from being enabled after switch reboot . Vipin V.K
