Dell Updates not installing

XPS 13 7390 2-in-1

XPS 13 7390 2-in-1

I have an XPS 13 7390 running on Windows 11, but I can't install any Dell application.

The Dell Assistant Support does not install, after trying all ways described in the dell community.

My laptop is 2 BIOs version behind and I don't know what to do.

Any clues?

Thanks.

Hi juanqui77:

Do you have a Home or Pro edition of Windows 11 and what is the version and build of your OS (check at Settings | System | About | Windows Specifications)? When you go to Control Panel | Programs | Programs and Features what is the Dell SupportAssist version listed there, and is the .NET (Core) Runtime v5.0.17 (a new system requirement shown in release notes for the current SupportAssist v3.11.4.29) listed there as well? From my Inspiron 5584 / Win 10 Por v21H2 laptop:

Win 10 Pro v21H2 Control Panel Programs NET Runtime v5_0_17 and Fusion Service 2_0_58 12 Aug 2022.png

Does Control Panel | Programs | Programs and Features show that you have Dell Command | Update Application v4.6.0 (the old Win32 style program for Win 7 SP1 and higher) or Dell Command | Update Windows Universal Application v4.6.0 (the Universal Windows Platform app for Win 10 and Win 11 only) installed on your machine? If not, does the installer for Dell Command | Update Windows Universal Application v4.6.0 (Dell-Command-Update-Windows-Universal-Application_HG8CC_WIN_4.6.0_A00.EXE, released 05-Aug-2022) that is currently available on the support page <here> for your XPS 13 7390 2-in-1 run correctly if you save the installer to your desktop, right-click, and choose "Run as Administrator"? If that installer runs correctly you should be able to use Dell Command | Update Windows Universal Application v4.6.0 to check for available Dell software and driver updates while you're trying to fix your problem with SupportAssist.
