how do you change input timing?
I'm trying to plug my PS4 into my monitor, which is a Dell P1911, but it keeps coming up with either a blank screen or this message "'The current input timing is not supported by the monitor display. please change your input timing to 1440×900@60Hz or any monitor listed timing as per monitor specifications". As I only use it as a display into my laptop, I don't know how to change the settings. thanks

You must plug the PS1 into the computer not the monitor. Connect the computer to the monitor. Monitors are dumb hardware that take their instructions from a computer unlike a tv. If you don't have an input port on the laptop you cannot attach the PS1. Attach the play station to a tv instead.
