dcu-cli.exe /scan will display any candidates for installation
dcu-cli.exe /applyupdates will install all pending updates
there is a fairly complex set of commands available to pick and choose what you do and don't want to install. Patches can be put on hold or installed one by one.
It displays a pretty long help guide, which, so far as I can tell, includes things like blocking individual patches, scheduling automatic patching, exclusions.

---Could you possibly link to those complex set of commands, or maybe list the most useful ones to you?
thank you
