Screen Resolution different to Display setting

Question

Hi,

I have an Insprion 17 5000 series. The display setting in on the recommended 1920x1080. However, when I check the screen respultion on whatismyscreenresolution.net, it shows 1423x800.

I have the same issue with my Dell G3 15.

What is the problem and solution?
