Support Assist Hangs

Support Assist has been stuck at 45% for an hour now. Is this a problem, or should I wait a bit longer? How much longer?

I too am disappointed with Dell SupportAssist.  One annoying problem is, as you mention, that it will get stuck.  For the second item, "Scan Hardware", it sometimes will remain there "forever" at "Preparing".   your spinny graphics, it has proven to tell me absolutely nothing.  I sure wish it actually meant something, like it's actually working on something.  Can you find it in your hearts to offer a progress window of any sort which shows messages about what the program is doing or attempting?  At least if this window stops showing messages, we know that the app is stuck, and if so, where, so that if we call in for help, we can tell the person where it stopped (the last few messages printed).  As-is, all that shows is a spinny graphic, which does not change dependent on anything save a total system lockup.

Yeah, not sure if this is Dell or the latest Windows 11 update borked something.  Dell Support Assist ( which I reinstalled just to make sure ) just fails when software scanning and hangs when doing hardware.  Alienware Commande Center ( which I checked is up to date ) also can't display performance, either the overlay or the main console.  I know it worked last time I bothered to look at them in March.  Aurora R16, bit over a year old.
