If you have already done the create pair of those 3 devices and configured using a different RA group then you can use symrdf movpair command with -cons_exempt option to move to SRDF/A consistent group without having to suspend the replication.
Or
if the devices are not being paired yet then you can use symrdf createpair with -cons_exempt option to create the rdf pair in the consistent group.
Note: The consistency exempt option (-cons_exempt) requires Enginuity version 5874 or later.
If its a DMX then you need to disable the consistency and suspend the group before adding the new devices to it.

Thanks! It is a VMAX so the code should be good.
How does this syntax look? The devices have not been paired yet.
symrdf -sid xxxx createpair -file temp.dev -type r1 -invalidate r2 -establish -rdf_mode async -cons_exempt

You are missing -rdfg in your syntax
