This means you have to
1) create zones between two storages
2) create OR hot pull session (don't forget QOS!)
3) shut down host
4) remove zones from host to old storage
5) activate OR session
6) create zones from host to targt storage
7) mask devices to host on target storage
8) wait 'till OR copies almost everything
9) boot host
Since you are hot pulling, the host will boot from DMX and DMX will fetch tracsk from source storage as needed. This MAY cause slow performances while booting and the host may hate this
I'm not an AIX expert but AIX LVM is quite smart and finds VGs depending on their VGIDs. AIX doesn't have an /etc/lvmtab file causing PITAs
Since the host is down when you activate the session I guess you won't have other issues. But again I'm not an AIX expert. I bet someone else may shade more light on glitches with AIX and OR.
