Differnce between VCMDB and Symmaskdb

Hi experts, Can someone help me to understand the difference between VCMDB and symmmaskdb having said that they both contain the masking database of the array. thanks in advance, Vivek

symmaskdb is the command (part of our Solution Enabler) that you use to manage the content of VCMDB (that's the database where the storage keeps details on masking).
