In all cases, the changed state of these Edit Director flags will not be detected until the host HBA is logged out and logs back into the Symmetrix fibre channel (FA) or iSCSI (SE) port.
dynamox, I tried your suggestion and when I do a symmaskdb list database it shows it disabled but when I run an ioscan -NfnC disk and then a syminq the SYMID no longer shows up in the syminq. If I enable SPC2 again and do the same commands it will show up.
