I did what you ask me to... still don't work... :( but is a new error message...

Sorry if my question was too dumb but I really got confused for a while.

Returning on the original question, is the server using SUN's Leadville driver or do you have to do persistent binding? Maybe there's a problem in the sd.conf and you should check this (persistent binding).

Sorry ! Was the text written in Wordpad ? as seen problems when this is done so always use notepad to write scripts.

We use SUN's Leadville driver. :)

but at this point.. is not important that.. because we are in the mapping step
:)

Heldmar AFAIK every and each port may have its own lun number 1 ;-)

Might need to check to see the status of the FA symcfg -sid xxx -fa all list, if not probably need to raise a call with EMC on 0870 6000 300.

Hello!!
Support have just told me that we have to unset the V flag (Volume Set Adressing), only used for HP server (as they told me).

I think now it will work...
