if there is such a thing, it's not available to customers.

I dont think there is, PSE Lab never heard of it. Maybe Engineering has something like this. But I dont think so.

Are you reffering to Symwin software? You can install it on your laptop and load BIN files, change it or modify it?? But thats not available to the customers...

You can create some kind of simulation with solution enabler by running it in offline mode and can query symapi database but all the command wont be working most of the read only command will work . You can have feel of simulation but exactly there is no simulation like clariion and cellera for symmetrix .
If you can get symmwin you can create or read your own bin file like customer engineer but it would be hard to get it . Its restricted to emc employees
