ArrayManager with WindowsXP Service Pack #2
For some time now I have run ArrayManager on my WindowsXP laptop to access RAID controllers on my servers both here at HQ and across the WAN. Since my user account has admin access to all servers, it never prompts me for any user name or password, it just works.
However, earlier this week I loaded WindowsXP Service Pack #2 on my workstation, and now ArrayManager no longer works in this remote mode. I have disabled the XP firewall, but it still does not allow me to access any servers, so it is NOT the XP firewall.
any other suggestions on what it might be, and how to fix it ?

Does Array Manager produce an authentication box every time a connection to a remote Windows server is made and fails to connect?
XP SP2 changed some DCOM stuff. Check this out: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;875605 I have no idea if this will help you out but it looked interesting.
