The Backup Exec job log will details what tapes were used in addition to whether it spanned over to a second tape.

 

If jobs are being queued, it may be possible that the queued jobs are waiting for a drive that is already in use.  In a multi-drive library, be sure to submit your jobs to the drive pool, not to a secific drive.

 

By default, the jobs are sent to the drive pool.
