cannot log into OpenManage
I am running Windows server 2019 standard with desktop experience. I have the server setup as a active directory domain controller. I installed OM-SrvAdmin-Dell-Web-WINX64-9.3.0-3465_A00 and it installs without any issues. I cannot get any version of username/password to work. Tried:
user password
Domain\user password
user@domain password.
I even installed the active directory extensions and still cannot login. Are there any log files that I can check to see what the issue is?
I have read countless articles about how it should work with one of those username/password combinations, but there must be something else going on.
Can I run it on a domain controller?
I have it running as a hyper-v server. I could spin up another image and make that a domain controller and demote this host server.
Thanks,
Brian

Hello
I don't have that exact version installed on a lab server. I tested 7.3 and 9.2, no issues with either.
domain\user
password
That combination worked for me. Make sure that you do not put a check in the active directory box unless you have configured advanced schemas. Also, sometimes the browser will create a pop-up window asking for credentials. If that happens ignore the pop-up, just close it and log in at the web page.
Thanks
