Cannot uninstall Server Administrator in NT4
Im trying to remove Server Administrator in NT4 using Add/Remove programs but the uninstaller keeps crashing, ive tried reinstalling over the top of the current installation but that fails with an error of "Server Administrator Version check failed. Server Administrator is not installed correctly".
Does anyone know what this error means or another way of removing server administrator?
Thanks,
Rich

Thanks for posting! I think the installer finds the other version of OMSA and it doesn't match the version that you are trying to install, so the version check fails. If the uninstaller doesn't work, you might be able to run omclean, but beware that if it still shows up in Add/Remove Programs there are some services that will be registered still to start before login and if those files are missing due to an omclean then the system may bluescreen.
Otherwise you're down to manually removing OMSA and the associated registry keys.

I tried OMclean and it completely removed SA from the NT4 box, including from Add/Remove programs.
However, when I now try to install SA its still giving me the same error even though there is no trace of an old version on the box?!

At this point you are down to making sure that the OMSA version you are trying to install is compatible with your version of the OS and the server. If those don't match, it won't install.
