Error when discovering dell PowerConnect switch

Question

Hi, I have a problem discovering a Dell PowerConnect switch. The switch is already discovered for some time so I see it in ITA but I don't see its IP address and am unable to start the web interface from ITA it passes the SNMP, Port 80 and ping connectivity tests. When I perform a discovery of the switch the ITA UI gives me an error always when I want to make changes in configuration (discovery/inventory configuration and most other configuration)the discovery stops after some time (2-5 mins)and ITA GUI starts working normally (accept me being able to see the switches IP address) The text of the error is: Error Code:1104 Error Message:Failed to establish connection with the Network Monitoring service. oh yes it is a DELL PowerConnect 3024

meantime I found out that the error was generated by SNMP discovery(it doesn't sho when I uncheck SNMP discovery) but that doesn't change the fact that I cannot access its web interface via IT Assistant and don't see its IP in ITA(although it is discovered through IP not through hostname Message Edited by Kajanov on 09-08-200612:21 PM
